A little about me…
Growing up I played representative soccer until I torn my ACL in my knee, I didnt want to have ACL reconstruction at the time so I chose to strengthen my legs and body to support my knee.
I began to notice my body changing and I started to care more about it. Like many women I tried so many things from weight training, persistent cardio, underfueling and overtraining but nothing seemed to work. This is where I found bodybuilding or for some body shaping, Not only was it good for my body but great for my mental health because it taught me control, discipline and self love not self sabotage.
Like many of us I also had to balance work. I have been a Registered Nurse for the last 12years, I struggled with 12hour shifts in emergency until I transferred in cosmetic nursing. During this time I competed in bodybuilding bikini competitions and did powerlifting, this is where i found my true passion of body shaping.
Through these experiences I learnt no body is perfect no matter how high I aimed or what I achieved. The truth is its about how you feel about yourself.
Over the years I became a mother, had my breast implants out, history of deep vein thrombosis and I finally had my ACL reconstructed. These events had my body go through a wave of changes physically, mentally and hormonally. I have adapted and tried so many methods and solutions, that can be effective in helping women build real strength physically and mentally.
My mission is to help people realise their own potential, not only in their physical form but also in their mental health.
I have a strong focus on educating and eating with purpose, not just to eat macro goals but to also balance hormones and gut health.
